Kaya's Agility Trial

This weekend I had the opportunity to watch my wife run of our Border Collie's in a trial. It was fun and they did a good job. This video gives you a little taste of what it's like.

Melissa's Bridal

I'm finally getting to post some great photos from Melissa's bridal. These were a lot of fun to shoot. We took these at the Petroleum Club in downtown Fort Worth.

They told us we could shoot anywhere we wanted too, so of course I pulled the cover off of the piano and Melissa was a good sport by posing on it.
Melissa chose this one to print. Reminds me of a magazine shot. You can see the tops of other buildings out of the windows.
I really liked this chandelier.

Luis and Melissa's Wedding

This past Saturday June 5th, I photographed the wedding of Luis and Melissa. I posted their engagement photos a few postings ago. It was a lot of fun. The wedding was held at their church in Fort Worth. The reception was at the Marquis on Magnolia. Congratulations to Luis, Melissa, Alana and Jade.


This is one of those small detail shots that I'm making a mental effort to capture more of.
I mentally pictured this shot during our engagement session. Alana did all of the work.
This was a special moment during the ceremony.
The Marquis has these huge windows and lets in great light around sundown. This photo was taken during their first dance. They really are a great looking couple.

Amanda and Brian's Wedding

This past Saturday I photographed Amanda and Brian's wedding at the Marriott in North Fort Worth near the Speedway. We had great weather and the wedding was a lot of fun.

Sometimes people are very serious during the wedding but Brian and Amanda laughed a lot. It really shows their fun personalities.
I really liked this mirror shot.

They had a great reception. This shot is just ambient light and a has a great warm feel.

Dylan & Lisa's Wedding May 23, 2010

This past weekend I shot two weddings, which was tiring but fun. On Sunday I photographed Dylan and Lisa's wedding in Weatherford, TX at Willow Lakes Wedding Garden. It was a great place and we had terrific weather. There was an outdoor ceremony then a reception that went well into the night. I really had a lot of fun photographing this event. My best wishes to Dylan and Lisa, thanks for choosing me to be your photographer.


Here's a big family shot. This was tough to setup, but came out well.

In the previous blog, I told you Lisa was going to wear boots with her wedding dress. Here they are with their rings. I'm a Texan, so I thought this was awesome.
The ceremony happened on this nice porch/deck.
I don't even have to write anything about this shot. It's perfect.
After the reception there was dancing under the stars. This photo was taken during their last dance.

Lisa's Bridal Shoot

This past weekend I shot a Double Header of weddings. It was tiring, but a lot of fun. I will post photos from both weddings later this week. But FINALLY I get to post a few bridal shots I took of Lisa at the Arboretum. Lisa looked great and was a perfect model. Interestingly anytime I asked her to make a serious face she couldn't help but laugh.

This one reminds me of the shots in bridal magazines.

This is the shot she chose to print for the wedding. Everyone at the Arboretum loved her boots. I lost count of how many people came by to tell her.

Dylan & Lisa Engagement Video

This past weekend I had the opportunity to try something new. Dylan and Lisa agreed to shoot an engagement video with me and we had a great time. These two were meant for film. They did a great job acting naturally and having fun. We rode the Tarantula Train out of the Stockyards in Fort Worth.

Editing was done in Final Cut and colored with Magic Bullet Looks.
