A few weeks ago I Maury and I shot her bridals. The wedding was two weeks ago, so I finally share these. She did a great job.

Music Video...The Way I'm Supposed to by Lacey Gage

I'm really excited to share a new music video with everyone. This is the video from a very talented singer/songwriter from Dallas, Lacey Gage. We discussed ideas for a long time before finally going with the video you see here. I didn't want to do just a normal, nice, sweet video, but I wanted to go for something a little different and challenging. After a little convincing Lacey was on-board and we shot what you see here.




Yes, that's Lacey in the trunk of a car. Most of this was shot with wide angle lens, led lights and some other cool camera gear I have. The actor in the video is Randy Franks. A very good actor from Dallas.

The Day Job

Nothing ground breaking, but it isn't often that I shoot railroad equipment. Last week I had the opportunity to ride one of business trains from Laurel, MT to Denver, CO. It was awesome. These photos were taken in the Casper, WY yard where we spent the night.

When I saw this I said, "hey cool a caboose." I was quickly corrected, "You mean switching platform." Railroads don't use them as much as they used to so it's cool to see one, plus I still prefer the old GN-BN green.

On this one I liked the clouds in the sky and how the sunset was painting the Santa Fe car.

Dre

I've wanted to do some senior portraits for a while and finally someone asked me. This is Dre, he's a senior at Fossil Ridge. He's a cool guy with good style. We shot around downtown Fort Worth and had a good time.

I thought this was an epic shot.
Dre lettered in basketball. We had a good conversation about the Mavs sweeping the Lakers. Go Mavs!

Dre's mom told me he was 6'5", if you know me then you know I'm about a foot shorter. But I came prepared with a step ladder. I'm glad I did to get great eye-level shots like this one.

Abe and Katie Wedding Video

Abe, Katie & Annabel

Earlier this week I traveled to Mexico to witness the wedding of two of my great friends, Abe and Katie. They were married on May 2, 2011 in Puerto Muerles, Mexico. Here are a few of the photos I took that day.

Annabel's the cutest. She had a lot of fun on the beach.

I like this one. I wonder what she's thinking about.



Annabel was so excited she couldn't keep both feet on the ground.


Congrats to my friends Abe, Katie and Annabel. It was a great day.

New Video Shoot

As soon as I finished my last music video I knew I wanted to shoot another one, so I started looking for a new singer to work with and found Lacey Gage. She's a talented singer/songwriter from Dallas. We shot a music video to her song, The Way I'm Supposed To. Go check out the song and buy the album on iTunes.

I won't tell you the premise, but here are a few photos from the shoot. As soon as the video's finished I'll post.


We found a great actor, Randy, to be the lead in the video. Not a great shot of him, but he's great in the video. He was really funny, but as soon as the camera started recording he was all business. I was impressed.

I think this is a cool photo. I always like to overexpose people's skin.


Thanks to Lacey and Randy, but every video needs a great crew. So thanks to my wife, Carmen, and Abe.
