Monday night I shot with Kerry. Check out a few pics.

Rachael

Monday I had the opportunity to shoot with Rachael and we took some athletic themed shots. I've seen some cool "workout" themed photos recently and decided to give them a try. I also integrated some new Photo-shop techniques I've been working on.

I've worked out in a boxing gym and a MMA gym. This is usually how we looked after wards. I like this slightly desaturated look as well.
I really like this one.

Kenzie

Tonight I shot with Kenzie. She was a lot of fun. This first shot was my favorite.

I'm still shooting head shots. The one below is great example of what I think a head shot should be. I finally got my blue seamless paper in. It really pops.

Composite

So something new. I've been playing around with compositing an image for a few weeks, but they've kind of sucked. Compositing is where you combine multiple images and effects into a single image. My wife used to do this to make cute Christmas cards with our pets, she was good at it before we knew what it was. One of my favorite photographers is awesome at it. I recently read his book and it walked me through the process. Here's my best attempt at it. I used a cool shot from my recent shoot with Gidget and a HDR image I shot this morning of sunrise near my house. It's pretty good, but I'll keep practicing though.

Today I had the opportunity to shoot with Gidget. She's a local actress. Next weekend she's filming an independent.
