Lawlers

A couple of weeks ago I got to shoot with one of my favorite families, The Lawlers. We walked around downtown Fort Worth and shot.

Amira's just cute all of the time.

Mike and Lindsey

Today I had the opportunity to shoot my brother and future sister-n-law's engagement photos. Mike, Lindsey and I drove all over Houston taking photos. It was a lot of fun and we got some great pictures.

It's fun shooting your family because they have to do any crazy idea you come up with. And this one turned out funny.

Mike and Lindsey met at LSU, where they both received their masters in geology.

They really look great together.
I really liked this photo.
The perfect jumping photo.
One of the locations we shot at was the Byzantine Fresco Chapel. If you get the chance you should check it out.
I'm happy for both of you and I had a great time shooting with y'all today. I hope we get to do it again. I'll see you at the wedding.

Salazar Wedding

Last Saturday I photographed Angelica and Josh's wedding. It was a great wedding. Every detail of the wedding was perfect.

This photo's from the last dance of the night.
The reception was as the Ashton Hotel in Fort Worth.
I really like this picture.

The first day I met with Angelica and Josh, I pitched this photo to them. I'm glad we made it happen. We actually took the whole bridal party on a photo walk around Downtown FTW.

Josh was really excited about renting a corvette for the day. It was very cool and made for a nice backdrop.
Angelica looked great coming down the stair case.

Angelica and Josh, thank you for choosing me to photograph your wedding. It was a beautiful day.

Thanks,
Brian

Reagan and Shawn

Yesterday I had the pleasure to shoot with Reagan and Shawn. I'm photographing their wedding in July and I already know it's going to be fun.

I'm generally pleased with the shots I take, but every now and then something extraordinary happens and a photograph like this one below happens. Make sure you click on this photo to see a larger version. The color and texture, combined with the new lighting system I'm using...it's just awesome. This is probably the best photo I've taken in a while.
I'm not a big "photoshop" guy except to clean photos or add layers for dimension, but the park we went to had this sundial and I wanted to do something different. So we did this shot. Turned out pretty cool.

The picture below is funny. I asked them to slide down the rail to give an action shot. This was even better than I had thought of. Don't worry she's fine.

It's funny how good looking people make photography easy.
Thanks Shawn and Reagan, I had a lot of fun shooting with you. I'm really looking forward to your wedding.

Thanks,
Brian

Petroglyph National Monument

This past week I had the opportunity to visit the Petroglyph National Monument in Albuquerque. It was pretty cool.

I liked this image of a bird.
