Welth & Lee

This past Sunday I had a great time shooting with Welth and Lee. We went to the Dallas Arboretum, then walked around White Rock Lake. We had perfect weather.

I liked the colors they coordinated. The orange color is great.
The Arboretum had pumpkins every where for Fall and Halloween.

I liked how the lake and sky fit right in with their outfits.
The OU shirts got quite a few reactions.
Thanks Welth and Lee for letting me hang out with you guys and take some great photos.

Thanks,
Brian

Melina & Jody

On October 16th I had the great pleasure of photographing the marriage of Melina and Jody. The wedding took place at the Fort Worth Botanical Garden with the reception in the Stockyards, a true Fort Worth wedding. I think people are surprised sometimes when I tell them I enjoy wedding photography. Most photographers just think about the pressure of getting all of the shots or handling all of the people. I think the thing I like most about weddings is how honest the photos are. When you look at these photos you can really see how much these two love each other (and their little girls).
All of the grooms I meet are in love, but Jody was so excited and ready to be married.
I really liked this photo. As her parents were dancing she was just spinning around. This type of photo is the reason I love photography.
You can just see how happy their kids are.
She finally tired herself out and I caught Jody just caring her around. This is one of those photos she'll show on her wedding day.
Thanks to Jody & Melina for letting me photograph your wedding. It was a great night.

Thanks,
Brian

Sunset Photo

It's been a busy weekend/month with weddings and portraits, but I shot this in a spare moment and liked how it came out. This is a father and son fishing on White Rock Lake.

Harrison Family

This past Sunday I had the opportunity to shoot with the Harrison family. So with a promise of donuts in exchange for smiles we proceeded. We shot in the Stockyards and I a ton of fun.

This one was Rachel's idea and I really liked how it turned out. Lately I've really liked this de-saturated look.
There's this great wall in the Stockyards with this great painting on the side. I've always wanted to shoot someone in front of it. I put these four photos together so you could see each kids personality.
Just a great looking family.

What kid doesn't like to watch their parents kiss and hug in public? I really liked this photo. If I didn't tell you it was a family shoot you would have thought it was an engagement shoot.
I liked the purple and gray together.
I've shot several times in the Stockyards, but this was the most fun I've had. Thanks to all of the Harrison's for making it great.

Susan & Steven

So it's wedding season again. October's been a great month with the weather. I've already shot two weddings this month. The first of which I have some photos from below.

Susan and Steven were married on Sunday October 10th. It was a perfect fall day (Texas Fall).

Congratulations to Susan and Steven. Thanks for choosing me to be your photographer.

NEW WEBSITE!

So after a lot of work my new website design is up. Same old url, www.blevinsphotography.com, but cool new look. My old site was difficult to update and had become stale. This one is easy to update and hosts my videos and photos.

When you get a chance check it out, or even better contact me about getting your photo on it.
